MTV’s Video Music Awards (VMA) Weekend showcases a series of performances by uprising musical talents – this year’s lineup included prominent acts like Noah Cyrus, Bebe Rhexa, DNCE, Why Don’t We, Ocean Park City, The Bleachers, Kacy Hill and more. We designed 3-4 animated loops per song for 10 performers, spanning the three-night event, with each design paying close attention to the musicality of each song. The content visuals were fed to 16 split LED screens, influencing the show lighting for each performance. We also provided screens producing and programming services, as well as aiding in the technical production of the show setup. The performances were streamed live on MTV.com, garnering over 1 million views for Noah Cyrus’ performance alone.
